By Wini Nduta ACV is a type of vinegar made from cider. It has been used in care of black hair for many years. I use it myself and I must say it is very effective as a clarifying wash. this means it gets rid of all the build-up on the hair shaft. It is close to the acidity of natural hair so it assists in the balancing of your hair's pH. I got the idea from my sister & went natural in November of last year. I must admit it is a learning process. There are so many aspects to it, one would think it's simple. One of the best things about ACV is that it gets rid of dandruff. though I must make it clear that dandruff is basically dry skin so moisturizing your scalp on the regular should deal with it. But because of many reasons like laziness or simple forgetfulness. ACV is readily available in any supermarket from Tuskys to Uchumi. I use the one above. This product is inexpensive and is multipurpose. You can use it for your hair, skin and even in your food. I use a spray bottle. Fill up to a quarter with acv and the rest with boiled water and spritz away. Also, it has a strong smell but it disappears once it evaporates. . .and one gets used to it.

By Wini Nduta What is natural hair? This is hair that is non-chemically relaxed. these chemicals included texturisers, relaxers or other chemical agents. It is simply hair in its natural state. I love to use Solange as an example: |
