It’s important to remove tangles from your hair so that the strand is free to grow. It also makes it easier for products to penetrate the hair shaft. One detangles by gently loosening the knots on the hair strands.
Here are some tools and products that will help you detangle:
There are specific products you can buy that are made for the detangling process.
Follow instructions on the product label carefully.
Literally any conditioner can do. Use your fingers or comb, starting for the bottom of the strands.
3. Apple cider vinegar
This product is so versatile because it is also really good for clarifying your strands. Dilute the ACV with water. Use a spray bottle to spritz this on your hair. Let it sit for a 5 minutes and rinse. You’ll see, it’s like magic!
4. Wide tooth comb
Use a plastic or wooden wide tooth comb on your wet hair. Start at the end and work your way towards the root. Remember to be gentle.
5. Detangling brush
You can also get a brush with Nylon bristles because they are just the right amount of firm to detangle your hair.

6. Finger detangling
Your fingers are the best way to detangle because you get to feel the strand. Use them to loosen up major knots. Lather up some conditioner so that you have slip which makes the process super easy.
Quick tip: Be gentle during detangling because your ends are the oldest part of your hair and you do not want them to get damaged.

Hot oil treatment
This treatment helps the hair strands absorb oil directly
What you need
¼ cup Olive oil and 2 drops essential oil of your choice
You can also add more oils if you desire
A pan and some water
Mix the oils
Add this mixture to the bowl
Warm the water in the pan and take it off the heat
Put the bowl in the pan and let the oil get warm
Apply this to clean hair and rinse after 20 minutes
You can alternate these treatments depending on what your hair needs. Try one every two weeks and monitor any changes in your hair to see if the treatment works for you. From your observation you will be able to decide if you need to change the amounts you add to each mixture.
