Amazing Kisumu Fashion Festival is a 3-day event which entails 2 days of fashion exhibitions and 1-day of fashion shows by both children and adults. The children fashion show will be led by Kisumu Kids Fashion Week while the adults fashion show will be led by Delan Models. It is a two-day straight shopping extravaganza on dates December 8th and 9th, and then two major fashion shows (the very first in Western Kenya) on December 10th, all at the Tuffoam Mall, along Achieng Oneko Road. The two shows will first start with a Kisumu Kids Fashion Week Fashion Show from noon till 5pm, of which the young ones will be given fashion experience as they showcase various fashion accessories on the runway. Then later evening, Delan Models (co-hosts) will be strutting the runway from 7pm-midnight. Two of Kenya’s homegrown lifestyle brands will also be in the house. Marini Naturals – a Kenya and Africa's first 100% natural and organic quality hair-care products for all Afro-textured and natural-haired beauties will also be at the event to re-introduce their hair care products in the Kisumu market after launching in the lakeside city of Kisumu a few months ago. Pam Nails Polish – is Kenya's Vegan, NON-Toxic, and Fast-Dry Nail Lacquer. They sell professional nail products and offer nail services. This is their first time to participate in any major event in Kisumu, or western Kenya. This festival is the first of many more to come, and is aimed at selling Western Kenya as a fashion and tourism destination. Western Kenya is quickly catching up to Nairobi as an entertainment hub and this festival plays a huge role in promoting the status of our region. The event is meant to bring together designers, entrepreneurs, fashionistas and the general public to an open-marketplace experience that will showcase various products all under one roof. The festival promises not just display and sales of fashion products, but also services from leading cosmetic brands in the country. There will be lots of great Christmas season bargains and samplings to be done, as well as treats. You don't wanna miss this!
