When I joined the corporate world just more than a year ago, I had to restructure my whole wardrobe to customize my new attire – business formal. It sounds boring, especially if you’re used to adorning casual jeans and tops. It seemed like a whole shift for me that would take me out of my comfort zone. But I now had to channel by Meryl Streep – from The Devil wears Prada. I realized there was a way I could remain chic in business formal without being boring, or spending too much money to buy new clothes. Here’s step one on how I began changing my wardrobe. I began with a staple – a black blazer. Who doesn’t have a black blazer in their closet? If you don’t, then I suggest you get one. They can be paired with literally anything – from casual tops with jeans, to a formal dress for work. That’s why I love my black blazer. Secretly, I totally wear casual tops inside, and put on my formal blazer on top, and no one’s the wiser. Zaful.com has a great variety of black blazers for women that can match any style, and they are cost-friendly too. I love their asymmetrical swallow-tailed long sleeve blazer; it conveys a high-fashion, gentleman-like aura. Therefore, for ladies that love changing up their fashion game by taking menswear and transforming it into women’s wear, this is that blazer for you. You can view the blazer here and below. Spice it up with the edgy, formal look with a PU leather spliced long sleeve blazer. The blazer also has zippers at the end of each sleeve, putting the cherry on top of the whole edgy look. Its brilliant design means that it doesn’t have a defined collar cut; hence it doesn’t have buttons or a zipper. You can view a picture of the blazer below. One other black blazer you really have to check out is the Zaful’s solid color stand collar zipper blazer. The blazer is perfect with cigarette pants and a chiffon top. At least that’s the way I would wear it. The blazer also comes in more colors you can see below.
