If you are in the fashion industry, you want to showcase at this event, if you are in the entertainment industry, you want to be seen at this event. Basically, the Fashion High Tea is an event not to miss. Even though I felt it was not promoted as much as it could have been, the event was still very well attended by the who’s who of Nairobi’s elite in the fashion and entertainment scene.
The event was held at Zen Gardens on Saturday 8th February 2014, and had a lavish high tea menu, drinks and great people in the mix.
The ladies and gentlemen did not disappoint, as they dressed to impress.
I was very impressed by the fashion showcased by the designers during the fashion show held in the evening. The first designer’s collection on the runway was Njema Helena by Cecelia Ostman. Her designs were impressive to say the least, with flirty short dresses that every girl would love in her closet.
I loved the show put on by Diva Bags, the models had a coordinated routine, however they made sure the bags were the highlight of the runway. The collection is by Kenneth Chiaji and was the only handbag collection on the runway.
Then there was the food we ate, which was lavish and scrumptious I must say.
